Achievements
Gerry has been in the marketing field for over 25 years. He:

Earned BS and MBA degrees cum laude in business marketing from the University of Southern California
Worked in corporate America for ten years, most notable was The Procter and Gamble Company (they more or less wrote the book on marketing) where he worked in Brand Management - designing and carrying out brand building marketing leadership programs that catapulted his brands (Era liquid laundry detergent and Cascade automatic dishwasher detergent) to record sales and market share levels. This was during the glorious days when white shirts and suits were de rigueur, and only the best and the brightest worked for P&G.
Has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the PBS Business series entitled, Something Ventured
Has been featured several times in the Orange County Register (a large, local metropolitan newspaper), and his marketing advice has often been quoted there
Is the co-founder of the Marketing Communications Certificate Program at the University of California - Irvine where he taught part-time for 7 years and served on its Advisory Board for three years
Taught marketing and advertising courses for over 10 years at Cal State-Long Beach, Cal State-Fullerton, and Pepperdine University
Was honored with the Outstanding Instructor Award by the FAME Renaissance Entrepreneurial Training Program, another in a long list of accolades he has received over the years

Some of her more memorable experiences have found her: Parasailing above Acapulco Bay; experiencing the world's best chocolate soufflé in Lake Como, Italy; hiking perilous trails to secluded Hawaiian waterfalls; practically falling into the Grand Canyon after seeing a bat up close and personal; horseback riding on crystalline Baja beaches and cruising through southern Caribbean ports.

Arah's future dream destinations include Bali, Egypt, Santorini, Tahiti, and the French or Italian Riviera. Although, she'd go just about anywhere to see wild horses frolic.
